Want to increase your POWER? The squat jump is an often forgotten exercise but fantastic for generating RFD.
The video below is split with the left side showing my landing position with good knee alignment (no knee valgus). The right video shows take off and landing posture from side on (shoulders over knees and knees over toes). Be sure you get these down before adding, speed, load and intensity.
Squat jumps will increase your RFD at the basic level, you can progress with a more reactive plyometric exercise when needed such as drop jumps.
